About Me

I grew up in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin. I am the oldest of four girls in my family. I played a lot of sports growing up, my favorites being basketball and volleyball. After graduating from Lakeside Lutheran High School, I attended Martin Luther College in New Ulm, Minnesota, where I received my B.S. in elementary education. This is also where I met my husband Aaron. After getting married, we moved to Manitowoc. He is now the principal and an upper grade teacher at Bethany Lutheran School. He also coaches football at Manitowoc Lutheran High School. We have four children – Makiah, Aaden, Laila, and Clay. They keep us pretty busy - we enjoy walking, biking, swimming, and playing together. Adding to all our activities, I am currently working a graduate degree from Concordia University in literacy. When I do have some free time, I enjoy reading, going to Milwaukee Brewers or Green Bay Packers games, watching movies, and catching up with my friends and family.
