Now that we are in December, I wanted to share that our classroom has done many things so far this school year! I have enjoyed every minute of the walks out at the school forest as well as the countless days working together and learning with my students. I wish time would slow down just a little bit to be able to enjoy my time with the students. I have attended some conferences and have a few coming up in February. I look forward to learning as much as I can from those conferences and helping my students learn more once I return. I hope everyone has a safe December with travels if you are going anywhere.
Welcome to my classroom! I am really excited to be at Madison Elementary School this year. I grew up in Manitowoc and graduated from Roncalli High School in 2006. After graduation I went off to college at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. I studied special education Learning Disabilities, Cognitive Disabilities, and Emotional/Behavior Disorders. I graduated in December 2010 and took my first teaching job in the Green Bay Area Public School District. In 2012, I took a job in the Manitowoc Public School District at Jefferson Elementary School teaching students with Emotional/Behavioral Disorders. After working there for two schools years, I transferred from Jefferson to Madison!! I recently got married and now live with my husband. I look forward to working with my new students and getting to know them and them me!!
