What does PTO stand for? Parent/ Teacher Organization
Who can belong to the PTO? Parents, grandparents, teachers, staff volunteers, and community volunteers.
What does the PTO do? We are a community of volunteers that helps to promote a fun, enriching and engaging school environment for the students and families at Madison School.

- Drive In Movie (October)
- Book 4 A Buck (October, December, February, and April)
- Math Night (October)
- Book Fair (November and February)
- Snowball Dance (December)
- Family Movie Night (January)
- Grandparent's Day (May)
- Staff Appreciation (May)
- Madison Bash (June)
- Fundraisers
- Dine to Donate at local participating restaurants
- Online receipt and soda cap redemption
- Seroogy's candy
- Spring Pictures
- Box Tops for Education
- Projects we Fund
- Field Trip Transportation and Admission Expenses
- Scholastic Book Purchases for Teachers
- Classroom Needs – materials, equipment, playground equipment, alternative seating
How do I get involved?
- Attend meetings!
- Volunteer to assist in person or behind the scenes at any of the above mentioned events and activities. For example:
- Prepare, donate, and/or serve food and snacks
- Serve as a chaperone or photographer
- Sign up to receive emails of meeting minutes and offer ideas or suggestions
- Help with raffle donations, or ticket sales
- Sort or self books for Scholastic Book Fair or Book for a Buck
- Set up or clean up for event facilities
- Donate supplies or gifts for teachers/staff
